Universal Hearing Screening [UNHS] in Alberta

March 27th, 2012

Newborn Hearing Screening means all babies born in Alberta will be tested in hospital after birth for hearing.

Without Universal Hearing Screening [UNHS] a child’s hearing loss may not be identified until 2 years old, which means language and social delays.

View this PDF for information or for additional information you can check the National Association of the Deaf website  or the Canadian Association of the Deaf website.  Let your voice be heard on this matter.
