Hearing Aid Care

Posted by Living Sounds

Take care of your hearing aids and they’ll take care of you!

Hearing aids are like tiny computers: they process how you hear the world by taking in sound, reducing any uncomfortable noises, and sending that sound to your ears for processing by the brain. However, dust, debris, sweat, wet hair, hair products, along with wind and rain, can all interfere with your hearing aids’ sound quality.

Forgetting to take care of your hearing aids can be costly and aggravating, causing their sound quality to weaken and crack, or causing them to, at worst, die completely. At that point, not only have you lived with declining hearing quality over the last few months, you’ll also have to send them in for major repairs. The solution is simple: book a routine appointment every six months at Living Sounds to have your hearing aids checked and maintained by our team of professionals.

At your next checkup, Living Sounds will listen to the hearing aids, open them up, vacuum them, and change microphone covers, filters, and receivers if necessary. Then, our certified hearing specialists will give them back to you, ready to wear, for another six months of blissful sound.

Call Living Sounds Hearing Centre at 1-833-559-4327 to book your appointment. You can also visit our website and reserve your appointment online here.
