Hearing Examination

Your hearing consultation is the first step to improved hearing health.

During your appointment you can expect a meeting to discuss your needs and concerns. We want to know what challenges or issues you are being faced with so we can provide you with answers and solutions that are tailored to you.

If it’s a hearing loss you are experiencing, we will perform a thorough examination of your ears and conduct a variety of hearing tests to determine the degree of hearing loss as well as the nature of the hearing loss.  We will review our results and conclusions with you and recommend a course of action.

If required, we can also guide you through the process of choosing the hearing instrument, assistive listening device or hearing protection product that is right for you.

Referrals

If it is determined that clients need advanced diagnostic procedures such as Auditory Brainstem Response testing or Electronystagmography testing, they are referred to the appropriate source by the Audiologists on our staff.

Our clinicians also make the appropriate referrals to family physicians, Ear Nose Throat Specialists, Speech Language Pathologists, etc.
