Jackie’s history with Living Sounds Hearing Centre dates back to 1987 when she started wearing hearing aids at age 5 or 6. She was first a client of Thibodeau’s Centre for Hearing Health & Communication (of which Living Sounds acquired the Edmonton operations in 2005) and then part of its staff.
Following two years of study in the General Arts Program, Jackie enrolled and graduated from the Hearing Aid Practitioner Program at Grant MacEwan University in 2004 on the Dean’s list.
She has been a registered member of the College of Hearing Aid Practitioners of Alberta (CHAPA) since October 2004, a member of the International Hearing Society (IHS) since August 2004, was certified by the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (NBC-HIS) in December 2004 and received her Audiometric Technician Certification in 2010.
