House Calls – Yes Really!

I am one of the newest members of the Living Sounds Hearing Centre client care team, being with the company for 10 months now.
One of the biggest surprises when I started with Living Sounds Hearing Centre was that they still do the old-fashioned house calls. We call them out calls. It’s crazy in today’s days of emails and texts to be waiting in a doctor’s office for hours, only to spend two minutes in the examining room with them. This is when our out calls come in handy! Not only are they convenient, but also wallet-friendly. Sometimes they cost a small fee, and other times are completely free to our clients
Our practitioners will go out to a client’s house, senior centre, or even their hospital room. They perform a variety of services on site: hearing tests, ear wax removals, repairs, cleaning, tech support, dropping off products or batteries, and just checking in on clients who are actually more like extended family.
New clients, particularly those with mobility issues, are blown away by this service (as they may be hospitalized or simply don’t have transportation to one of our eight offices or satellite sites). It’s a small but much-appreciated part of our exceptional customer service, which you don’t get just anywhere these days.
I am proud to be a part of Living Sounds Hearing Centre’s caring team and love offering and booking out calls for our clients who need or want our extra care and attention.
